Hello! I’m Kayli Howard.
I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate based in Portland, Oregon providing online therapy for couples and individuals.
I have a MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, where I trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist. I view individuals through a psychodynamic lens, utilizing somatic techniques, narrative therapy tools, mindfulness practices, attachment-theory, and a transpersonal approach to guide clients towards finding peace and wholeness within themselves, and in their interpersonal relationships.
In 2023 I received certification in Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy from Fluence where I trained in a trauma-informed, mindfulness-based approach. Along with my psychotherapy practice, I am a Licensed Psilocybin Facilitator in Oregon and I am part of Fluence’s faculty, training upcoming Colorado facilitators.
I’ve lived in New York, Los Angeles, and Asheville, before ending up here in Portland. The trees got me! Prior to entering the field of mental health, I worked as a writer. Always curious about the lives of others, I am intimately aware of how the stories we stick to can stick to us too—and how cathartic it can be when we release them.
My intention is to offer you a curious, kind, and purposeful presence. I am warm, nurturing, funny, intelligent, intuitive, and non-judgmental. I welcome people from all backgrounds and communities into my practice.
